Rapid Construction

   Rapid construction is a goal for bridge builder, especially for the urban and replacement project. In recent years, the requirement for higher rapid civil construction has arisen from the increasing number of vehicles. Prefabricated technology is recognized by the government and authorized and widely applied both domestic and overseas for its advantages of precise construction, high speed and environment protection.


  As a connecting system provider, Datong INC. specializes in the research and development of rapid construction in every field including bearing, expansion joint and grouting coupler. Datong INC. have developed prefabricated modular expansion joint, accelerated application expansion joint and grouting coupler for rebar splicing n prefabricated structure.


   GT-RM modular expansion joint and GT-RF finger joint consist of specially designed embedded anchorages and panels. Embedded anchorages are pre-set prior to the construction of asphalt layer and the consequent construction of panels. After asphalt is constructed, just remove the panels and connect the joint to the embedded anchorages.

   The aforesaid process could save up to 70% erection time compared to the current installation process.

   EMR strip seal is imported from USL UK, and has been successfully applied to many projects. It consists of an elastomeric seal insert between two edge beams. It is unique in that the edge beams are inserted to a rapid curing elastomeric resin, which bonded with bridge deck by polyurethane resin, without any welding.

   EMR strip seal is expansion joint for movement range up to 100mm. It is ideally suited for replacing the failure joint since the following superior performance:
> Reliable connection. The rigid adhesive between elastomeric resin and bridge deck can resist the traffic load and avoid the fatigue of welding.
> Minimum traffic disruption. Benefit from no welding and rapid curing elastomeric resin, the joint can allow traffic flow within 2-3hours.

   Grouting coupler is a key component to connect the prefabricated structure. After years of theoretic and experimental research, our grouting coupler has met the design requirement and accredited by the national authority.
