Located in Weng’an County, Guizhou Province, the Qingshui River Bridge is a landmark project celebrated as a "jewel in the Bridge Museum." As the largest single-span stiffened steel truss suspension bridge in the world, and the first double-tower single-span steel truss suspension bridge in Asia’s mountainous regions, the bridge spans 1,130 meters with a total length of 2,171.4 meters. The bridge towers rise 540 meters above the river surface, with the deck standing 406 meters above the canyon floor, making it an engineering marvel along the Guiwen Expressway.

IEC supplied 54 meters of D1600 modular expansion joints with a displacement capacity of 1,600mm and an intelligent monitoring system. This project marks a breakthrough in IEC’s design and manufacturing capabilities for large-displacement expansion joints, ensuring the structure’s reliability and long-term performance under dynamic conditions.
