The Chishui River Bridge is a key component of the 165-kilometer-long Guijin Expressway, which is designed as a six-lane highway with a speed limit of 100 km/h. As a landmark structure along the Sichuan-Guizhou corridor, the bridge spans 1,089 meters, featuring a 575-meter double-tower, double-cable-plane composite beam cable-stayed design. It holds the record for the largest span among similar mountainous canyon bridges in Asia.

In 2023, IEC supplied and installed the DXB1440 multi-directional finger expansion joint with a movement capacity of 1,440mm. This innovative joint supports true multi-directional movement, features wear self-compensation, and is easy to maintain or replace, marking a significant breakthrough in IEC’s large-displacement finger expansion joint technology.
