Niutianyang Bridge, Shantou, Guangdong Province, China

The Niutianyang Bridge, currently under construction in Shantou, Guangdong Province, is a key infrastructure project connecting the north and south banks of the Rongjiang River via the Niutianyang Expressway. This dual-layer structure accommodates both highway and rail traffic, featuring a dual-tower, dual-cable-plane, dual-layer steel truss cable-stayed design. The main bridge spans 955 meters with a central tower height of 183 meters.

IEC supplied a range of advanced metal dampers for this project, including E-Shape Steel Dampers and C-Shape Steel Dampers with elastoplastic energy dissipation capabilities. These devices ensure reliable performance and structural safety by mitigating dynamic forces, safeguarding the bridge against seismic and wind-related stresses.
