Chaotianmeng Above-ground Bridge, Beijing, China

Situated in the capital city, the Chaotianmeng Above-ground Bridge is a pivotal infrastructure project designed to improve traffic flow and urban connectivity in Beijing. In 2018, IEC was selected to supply 56 pieces of Cable Restrained Bearings with capacities ranging from 10 to 45 MN, catering to the bridge’s substantial vertical load requirements.

This project highlights the technical capabilities of IEC’s CRBs in handling extreme loads and providing essential seismic isolation for urban bridge structures. The application of these bearings plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficacy and safety of the bridge, reflecting IEC's strategic involvement in enhancing urban infrastructure with sophisticated engineering solutions.
